Jessica's Experience

REMOVE

Part of my job is identifying the factors that are contributing to your health concerns and preventing progress from taking place. These might be blood sugar imbalances, insulin resistance, chronic stress, yo-yo dieting, digestive issues, hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies, chronic fatigue, low motivation, limiting beliefs etc. These aren't excuses. These are real issues. Identifying these obstacles and addressing them adequately is often key.

REBALANCE

Think of the metabolism as a delicate ecosystem. Each element (organs, hormones, microbiome) interacts with and depends on others. When one element is out of balance, it throws off the entire ecosystem. Treating only one system in isolation is like trimming the leaves of a wilting plant. Without nourishing the soil, the plant will continue to struggle. A healthy metabolism requires tending to the whole ecosystem.

RESTORE

Metabolic flexibility is your body’s ability to switch between burning carbohydrates and burning fat for energy, depending on what’s available. In a healthy, flexible metabolism, the body can seamlessly adapt to different conditions—such as eating, fasting, or exercising—and adjust fuel sources accordingly. Metabolic flexibility helps prevent weight regain since a flexible metabolism can adjust better to fluctuations in diet and activity levels.
